Privacy Policy for Chonk Merge

Chonk Merge ("the game," "we," "us") is a mobile puzzle game developed for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information is collected when you play, and how it's used.

Data stored on your device

Your gameplay progress is stored locally on your device only, and is not transmitted to us or any server we control. This includes:

• Unlocked themes and discovered cats
• Best scores per theme
• Daily Challenge completion history and streak
• Coin balance
• Game settings (sound, music, vibration, display preferences)
• Remove Ads purchase status

If you uninstall the app or reset progress from within Settings, this data is deleted. We do not have access to it and cannot recover it on your behalf.

Advertising

Chonk Merge shows ads (banner and rewarded video) served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and other data to serve and measure ads, and — where required by your location, including in the EEA and UK — we request your consent to this via a Google-certified consent management platform (Google's User Messaging Platform) before showing personalized ads. You can review or change your ad consent choices at any time from the Settings screen inside the app.

Purchases

Chonk Merge offers optional in-app purchases (a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase, and consumable coin packs). These purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, per their own respective privacy and payment policies. We do not receive or store your payment details.

What we don't do

We do not require account creation or login, do not collect your name, email, or contact details, and do not sell your personal data.

Children's privacy

Chonk Merge is a general-audience game and is not directed specifically at children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising shown to users identified as under the relevant age is handled per Google AdMob's child-directed treatment settings.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
